As spiritual beings we often are trying to find or define our spiritual jouneys. In doing so we often forget that part of this process is reflecting on what we are not, what we may have left behind. At UU services we are often intrigued by other peoples journeys, what brought someone where they are today and how we ourselves would define our ever changing journey. Therefore, this week we will do an activity inspired by Ernest Hemingway taking up a bar bet to write a novel in 6 words. We will endeavor to write our own spiritual journey in an easy short format, that may, in fact, speak volumes, and in doing so help us celebrate and hold on to the essence of our own stories.
