It’s fair to say that life in our post-modern world is characterized by anxiety, overstimulation, and sometimes overwhelm. Many of us are haunted by situations in the world in our personal lives. We can make adjustments in our personal lives and try to make the world a little better, but the root of our ‘problem’ is not our situations. It is setting ourselves against reality, which isn’t altogether sane. But we can learn to reorient ourselves.

Speaker Bio

The Reverend Mark Gallagher served for twenty-one years as pastor of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Vancouver (Washington), having previously served several other west coast congregations briefly. He still lives in Vancouver and has a private practice ministry of preaching, teaching, and leading workshops. He has spoken at UUFM several times over the years.
