We all know the evils of Social Media: it sucks our time away, makes us feel less worthy, steals our privacy. But like any tool, used the right way, social media networks like Facebook and Twitter can also be leveraged to powerful results, nationally and in our own backyards.

Speaker Bio

Megan Corvus was born and raised in Yamhill County, and after a decade away, returned with her wife to raise their two young children on a farm north of Yamhill. A compulsive problem solver, Megan works for a large international consulting firm, strives to keep everything on the farm alive, and lends her skills to progressive organizing efforts across the state and here at home.

 

Like so many other churches and synagogues, we felt it necessary to cancel public services until April due to the risks around COVID-19. In its stead, here is a video recording of Megan’s talk that she agreed to make for us.
