How does being the only survivor of an extremely rare form of cancer alter your perspective on life? His new view on life can benefit the rest of us.
Dana Libonati is a composer, pianist and music teacher. He taught at Linfield College for 22 years, teaches at Chemeketa Community College, and is currently in his 23rd year at McMinnville High School. He is a published composer and arranger and his high school jazz choirs have won numerous jazz and music festivals. He performs as a solo pianist and in his jazz band “Ad Lib”. He lives in McMinnville with his wife Kim who is a nurse practitioner and runs Friendsview Retirement’s health center.
